Introducing Lelo Luna Smart Bead

I think the thing that makes me the most excited as a reviewer is when I get to help launch a brand new product.  Lelo emailed me a few weeks ago asking if I would be interested in promoting  and reviewing their new kegel training product, the Lelo Luna Smart Bead.  There have been several kegel personal training products that have come out recently.

To start off with, why do we care about kegels?  I have only reviewed a few kegel trainers, but they are all manual or considered “duo tone” kegel toys.  But kegels can help increase your ability to climax as well as the strength of orgasm.  Kegels also help with bladder control and overall vaginal health.  The focus of the Lelo Luna Smart Bead is to increase orgasmic potential.  Lelo created a Global survey that showed a few facts about female orgasm:

  • 76% of women claim their orgasm wave lasts less than six seconds
  • 11% of women have never experienced what they would describe as a climax
  • Only 4% of women are ‘Fully satisfied’ with the strength of their orgasms
  • Only 17% of women regularly experience multiple orgasms
  • 33% of women believe they have never experienced a multiple orgasm

Unlike many studies, this was a 2014 survey which has been gathering date for 5 years and had nearly 50,000 global participants.  With these facts in mind, Lelo designed the Smart Bead.

So what exactly is the Lelo Luna Smart Bead?  It’s a personal pleasure training device that aims to help women achieve better orgasms through kegel exercise.  The device is shaped much like the Lelo Lyla, but one surface features touch-senors that set a progressive training routine to aid women in their kegels.  Once inserted, the touch-sensor responds to every squeeze in order to tailor a routine that works for you.  There are 5 vibration-guided levels which are automatically updated to match the strength of your pelvic floor muscles.

The Smart Bead itself is fairly simple.  You turn it on, insert it, much like a tampon, and follow the program.  When the bead vibrations, you squeeze with your kegels and when it stops vibrating you stop.  Three vibrations signal the end of the program and the bead turns off on it’s own.  Each training routine lasts about 5 minutes, so it doesn’t even take a significant amount of time out of your day.  After you have completed a routine, you can activate a continuous vibration mode to test out your orgasm after your exercise.

Be sure to follow Lelo on Twitter and Facebook for more announcements.  You can also check out these hashtags for more tips, and information from other bloggers:  #trainfororgasm #lelo #lelolunasmartbead #orgasmtrainer #lelotips  Also don’t forget to check out the Lelo Luna Smart Bead, starting at $109 and stay tuned for my upcoming review! Review: LELO Ora

Recently Lelo released one of their new products, the Ora.  They have been creating a lot of new versions of their original products lately, but I was excited, yet nervous, to try out the Ora.  I had experienced the Sasi that came out before I started reviewing, and wasn’t impressed.  I had also tried the Squeel and didn’t enjoy it either, so I was hoping the Ora would offer me a little more.

Comparison Review: SenseMotion Line – Oden, Lyla, and Tiani

It sounds like a hot MFF threesome doesn’t?  Oden, Lyla, and Tiani.  FunWares sent me the entire line of SenseMotion toys to review, which I have done so individually (click on each of the names above to read those reviews), but now I’m going to do a comparison of all three.  It’s a little difficult to do, because they do have very different purposes, but I’ll do the best I can.  In case you don’t want to read the individual reviews, here are the run downs for each:

The Run Down – Oden:

  • Toy Type:  Cock ring
  • Manufacturer:  Lelo
  • Includes:  Oden, remote, batteries for remote, charger, storage bag, and Insiginia broach
  • Materials:  Silicone and ABS Plastic
  • Size:  Oden – 3.75″ long, 1″ at the widest, 1″ wide hole (unstretched); Remote – 2.5″ in diameter, 0.75″ thick
  • Price:   $135.95
  • Pros:  Nice packaging with storage bag; Rechargeable; Silicone; Nice shape in theory; Good vibrations;  Easy to use;  SenseMotion modes are cool
  • Cons:  The gap between the body and tail is not right; Little more difficult to clean; Not the best shape in practice;  Can pop off (especially during girl-on-top); Looses connection easily
  • Intensity: Oden– 3/5; Remote – 2/5
  • Volume:  Oden – 2/5; Remote – 3.5/5
  • Overall Rating: 2.5/5
  • Recommended: Maybe, I like the SenseMotion, but it’s functionality as a cock ring was limited, if you really want to try it go for it, but if you’re unsure, don’t

The Run Down – Lyla:

  • Toy Type:  Out-ie
  • Manufacturer:  Lelo
  • Includes:  Lyla, remote, batteries for remote, charger, storage bag, and Insiginia broach

  • Intensity: Lyla – 3/5; Remote – 2/5
  • Volume: Lyla – 2/5; Remote – 3.5/5
  • Overall Rating: 3.75/5
  • Recommended: Yes
