I am not sensitive to any chemicals, but I know many of my readers are, which is why I picked Blossom Organics Moisturizing Lube to review.  Plus I’m sort of a lube whore… don’t judge me.  So I was glad to see the “female FRIENDLY” stamp on the side of the Blossom Lube box when I received it.   The box is pretty (of course I like it, it’s purple) and has a nice design and flowers on all sides and it doesn’t say anything naughty on it, just that it is a moisturizing lubricant.  On the back of the box it states that it’s formulated by a woman as the natural and pure choice for women who want a pH balanced lube to heighten intimacy.  The lube comes in a 4 oz tube that is decorated just like the box and is very pretty and discreet.

This lube is 100% free of harsh ingredients and is formulated without parabens, petrochemicals, silicone, glycerin, alcohol, hormones, artificial dyes, flavorings, or fragrances.  It’s also pH balanced and is gentle enough for daily use to relieve vaginal dryness. This lube will actually help you maintain vaginal moisture.

The Lube Tube

The lube itself has an interesting consistency, due to the concentration of aloe.  If you’ve ever squeezed aloe straight out of a leaf, you know it’s thick and sort of sticky, but runny and not sticky at the same time.  It’s hard to explain. The lube is  very slick and not sticky when applied, but it is not quiet a gel and will string if you rub it between your fingers and pull them apart.  I do find that it feels nice and there is no smell or taste to it.  It does get a bit sticky when it dries but if you add a little bit of water it returns to it’s original slickness.

I haven’t gotten a chance to use this for sex or masturbation yet (damn period) but I did use it to jerk off with Adonis and I quickly learned water-based lubes don’t work well for male masturbation.  However, I don’t see why this wouldn’t be amazing for sex and female jack off sessions.  Overall, this is a great natural alternative for women.  It’s also great for women who need a little help producing and maintaining their own natural vaginal moisture. Blossom Organics also offers a Warming Lubricant that Good Vibrations also carries.  So if you desire a female friendly and natural lubricant, head over to Good Vibrations and check out Blossom Organics Moisturizing Lubricant.
