MyPleasure Wrapping

I want to start by telling you about how beautifully packaged items from MyPleasure are sent. Your items will be wrapped together in clear gift wrap and tied up with a pretty little ribbon. This is the only company that I’ve seen that does this and I think it’s a nice little added touch.  As far as the Callisto, it comes in a long black box with the “TYBO” on the top.  On the side of the box it reads:

The motto of TYBO is giving customers full satisfaction and pleasure based on the high-intensive technology and the fresh enterprise.  The mind of customers is changing as the current trends are changing.  We understand alteration and we try our best to stisfy the customers.

Notice the typo?  Yeah it was on the box, but it’s not a huge deal, I know I make tons of typos.  But overall the box is very discreet and the sex toy is displayed nicely in a firm foam bed.  The one thing I didn’t like is there is not instruction booklet really.  There is a small card with very general instructions which I did not find useful at all.

This is a very pretty toy.  It is made from a silky smooth PVC rubber and nickel plated aluminum.  Since it is PVC it is not very body safe.  The first and only time I used it I did put a condom over the entire thing.  Also, if you have a nickel allergy you should not use this product.  The product is very easy to clean, simply wash with soap and water or use toy cleaner.  It is compatible with silicone and water-based lubricants.  I have noticed that the metal is easily scratched and does show finger prints.

Callisto in my hand

The Callisto is a very small toy and would be a good introduction to dual/triple stimulating toys.  It is about 7″ in total length, with only 3″ being insert-able.  It is also an extremely thin toy.  As you can see in the picture, it is about as wide as one of my fingers, around 3/4″ wide.  I am by far not a size queen, but I found this toy to be much too small for me to get much, if any, pleasure out of.  It does have some nice features to it however.  The larger shell shaped nub contains a bullet to stimulate your clit or perineum.  It also has another smaller, hallow nub on the back that can add a little extra stimulation to your perineum if you choose.  I think it is too small to reach your clit if used in that direction.  The head of the Callisto also rotates to give you added g-spot stimulation.  I did notice that the head is very fragile.  The rotating part pops out of place very easily.  You can work it back into place, but it’s very annoying.

Now, the rotation is fairly quick, but for me it just didn’t hit anything good.  The toy wasn’t wide enough and doesn’t have a large enough head on it to provide any real stimulation to my g-spot.  The vibration that the shell bullet provides is also fairly week.  I don’t require a lot of power to get off, but the Callisto didn’t even pack enough punch for me to enjoy it.

Batter compartment, base, and stand

The entire bottom of the end cap is a button that pushes in fairly easily.  I should have taken the picture with the cap facing up to show you the “TYBO” etched into the bottom, but oh well.  It takes one AA battery that’s easy to put in and it also has an O-ring so it is waterproof.  I wouldn’t want to submerge it though, just something with metal and a batter in it makes me a little nervous.  It also comes with its own cute little stand.  I know some people like to display their toys and this is a very pretty toy to display.  I personally do not but you do have that option.

Overall, the Calisto is an okay toy, but it really didn’t work for me.  It could be good for a beginner or someone who does not like much girth in a toy and someone who needs even a lower amount of vibration than me but even then I can’t recommend this to anyone. The ultimate reason for not being able to recommend this is because of the price.  The Callisto carries a very hefty $69.95 price tag.  While it is pretty and is metal, I feel that for the price there are several things I should have.  For the price, I feel it should have a stronger vibration and multiple settings, be a more body safe material like silicone, and possibly be rechargeable.  I do encourage you to go check out the everything else that MyPleasure has to offer and use the code below to say 10% on your order.
