The package

The Crystal High Intensity Bullet 2 comes in a small clam shell package.  The background shows some diamonds and a splash of water.  I wouldn’t say the package is discreet, but I think it’s overall attractive and lists all the functions.  You could store the bullet in the package, but there’s no real reason too, since it’s plastic I would just toss it in my drawer without worrying.

The bullet

The bullet itself is 3.5″ long and about 5/8″ wide.  The one I received is metallic pink, but it also comes in purple, silver, and blue.  I do like the metallic finish, it’s very pretty.  I would prefer a less girly color than pink though, but you guys know about my aversion to pink.  In addition to the color, there are six white crystals placed around the end of the toy.  I’ve picked at them and they seem to be secured very well.  They add a bit of sparkle to your toy.  There is no functionality to them, but some people do prefer a pretty toy.  The Crystal Bullet is made from ABS plastic and there is no soft coating so it’s very slick.  It’s also compatible with all types of lube, though you would only need a small bit if any with this.  For cleaning it’s pretty simple, just wash it with soap and water, toy cleaner, or isopropyl alcohol.

The end cap

The Crystal Bullet runs off one AAA battery which is easy to insert.  Just unscrew the end and slide it in.  I bet guys wish girls were that easy, huh?  There is a rubber o-ring so this toy is water-proof.  As far as the controls, it operates with a simple push button.  It’s very easy to press but I don’t like how it works.  It’s very similar to the control on the Vr3 I just reviewed. To turn it on you press the button, but to turn up the speed you have to press and hold the button.  To turn it off you press it again.  I don’t have as much of a problem controlling the speed on the bullet as I did the Vr3, but I still like to be able to decrease my speed without turning the toy off and back on.  The one thing I thought was neat though is that there is an LED in the button that lights up when it’s on.  When you hold the button the turn up the speed, the light flashes to the frequency of the vibration.  When you reach the top speed it just glows solid.  The vibration overall is a bit buzzy, but not so much that it bothered me, and I would rate it at just a medium.  However, it is fairly quiet.

I’m sure you are all wondering why this is the Crystal High Intensity Bullet 2.  Well there actually is just a Crystal High Intensity Bullet and this one is suppose to have many improvements over that one.  Since I don’t own one of those, I can’t tell you if it’s true or not.  The one thing the package says is “Now with AAA power!” The original used an N sized battery, so I suppose this one may pack a bit more punch.  It also says extended battery life.  The one thing I do see from the picture of the original is they changed from a pointed tip to a blunt slightly rounded tip.  If you really like to use just the tip of a bullet for pinpoint vibrations you may prefer the original over this one.

Overall, the Crystal High Intensity Bullet 2 is a decent little bullet.  It’s definitely pretty, so if you like something that’s pleasing to look at over something basic, I’d definitely op for this.  The controls bother me a bit, but not that much.  For a cheap bullet, it’s pretty nice and pretty.
