The packaging for the corset is very simple.  It arrived in a USPS priority box and the corset and matching thong come sealed in a plastic sleeve.  It also has a small tag attached that says “Daisy Corsets” which is the manufacturer.  It’s nothing special.  For storage I would suggest storing it somewhere where you can lay it flat, so the bottom of your lingerie or underware drawer.

When I first got the corset, I had requested a 6X based on the size chart.  I’m a 48″ bust 40″ waist, and 50″ hips so I went with the 6X.  When I got it I found that with it laced as tight as it would go, the cups were still a bit saggy.  I contacted JustPlusSizedCorsets and they were kind enough to send me a smaller size.  I went ahead and went down two sizes and got a 4X.  The 4X fits GREAT!  I can tighten it to about only an inch of space between the rivets in the back.  It gives me a nice hour glass shape and really lifts up my boobs.  It does have boning, but it’s only plastic.  The boning will bend and warp if you try to tighten it to much.  The only thing I don’t really like about the fit of the corset is that it is a bit too long for my torso.  The bottom comes down to a point in the middle and when I’m sitting it’s pushing into my mons.  The edges on the sides also push into the crease of my legs.  Standing, I have no issues, but I do wish it were a bit sorter.  The corset also comes with a thong that’s literally two strings attached to a triangle of the same material used for the corset.  The triangle is much to big for me and it’s just uncomfortable and bad.  I’d rather they just not include a thong/g-string thing when it’s going to suck so much.

The back

The material is fairly thick and has no stretch to it.  The other corset I have has stretchy panels, which doesn’t allow it to hold you as tight.  The material on this corset has no give to it and it has a nice floraly/swirly design on it.  It’s called “embroidered” but it doesn’t really feel embroidered to me.  There is a little bit of a texture to the material, but it mostly feels flat.  The inside is a smooth shiny material that’s differnt from the outside.  I don’t find that it feels rough or itchy against bare skin.  The top and bottom edge of the corset also have a satin ruffle sewed around it. As far as the hardware though, the front closes with a busk closure and is a fairly sturdy metal.   This type of closure drives me a little crazy.  It takes a lot of practice to learn how to do these types of closures.  There are also some satin ribbons at the top above the closure to tie a bow if you like.  The rivets on the back are also metal and seem study.  The lacing is just a black satin ribbon, so you may eventually need to replace it though.

Overall, I do really like the Embroidered Burlesque Overbust Corset and I’m really glad they were willing to send me a smaller one (oh what to do with the larger one… hmm wee shall see!).  I love that it’s strapless and it pushes my boobs up really well and it just overall looks nice and sexy.  The only real cons to it are the craptastic thong and it is a bit to long for me.  I’m only 5’4″ and I have long legs and a shorter torso, so if you’re the other way around it may not cause the same problem.  I would suggest buying it a size or two down from what your measurements suggest and would probably stick to that with all of the Daisy Corsets that sells.  With something like this you can always put in longer laces but you can only lace it up so much.  They do carry sizes up to a 6X though in many styles, so most women should be able to find something to fit them.  So head on over and check out this and all the other sexy corsets they have to offer.
