I haven’t reviewed a product like this before because frankly, they scare me a little bit.  The strength of products like this and the Hitachi is something that most women crave and want, but I guess I just have a delicate little clit.  I won the Fairy Mini Wand in a contest, which is why I have it.

The packaging for the Fairy Mini I suppose some would think is cute.  It’s very pink and has a fairy in the logo.  Any other writing on the box though is in Chinese or some other language.  Other than that the product is shown on the package but it just looks like a standard (by girly) back massager.  It does come with a storage bag so you can keep it in the box, bag, or both.  It can be difficult to squeeze all of the cord into the bag though.

The wand and storage bag

The Fairy Mini is a pretty hefty vibrator and is about 10″ in total length.  I haven’t felt or even seen a Hitachi, but I believe this is much smaller than the Hitachi and it is smaller than the regular Fairy Wand.  The head of the wand is made out of plastic and is fairly flexible.  It is not sterilize-able though so if you want to share this with more than one partner you should put a condom over the head.  To clean the Fairy Mini, I would suggest just wiping it with a damp cloth and try to keep the control and cord from getting damp.  Also, since the head is plastic it cannot be sterilized.  However, you can use any type of lubricant with it; oil, water, or silicone.

The pink portion of the handle is a matte finish which does give you a better grip on it.  The control is a rolling dial and it is powered by plugging it into the wall.  The cord however is only 5 feet long.  If I were to use this it would be difficult to do so because most of the outlets I have are more than 5 feet from my bed.

These types of wands that plug into the wall are known for being strong.  Like I said earlier, I’ve never handled a Hitachi, so I can’t quite compare, but the Fairy Mini packs one hell of a punch.  I can barely stand it on my back and shoulders I don’t think I could put it between my legs.  The vibrations are also rather buzzy and high pitch and it does get rather loud, especially on the highest setting.  This is not something I would want to use without the TV on very loud.

Overall, many people will love the Fairy Mini Wand and I think it will be great for people who need lots of power.  It’s also lighter and smaller than it’s larger Fairy Wand couterpart and the Hitachi, so it won’t be as much of a hassle to use.  I do think it could use a longer cord though.  Oh, and there are a few neat looking accessories you can get for it!
