Review: Foaming Intimacy Lubricant

As most of you know, I love weird, odd, and unique products.  When I came across a foaming (yes foaming) lubricant, I knew I had to try it.  FunWares was kind enough to send me a can of the Foaming Intimacy Lubricant.

The can

The Foaming Lube comes in a tall metal can much like any type of hair mousse comes in.  The Vanilla scent/flavor like I recieved has a brown/gold color scheme.  It does say “Foaming Intimacy Lubricant” and “Vanilla” on the front.  The back of the can  talks about the lube and gives some directions.  It also has a few cautions and warnings.  Like any product in a can like this it is under pressure, so you want to make sure you don’t puncture or incinerate it and store it at room temperature.  Aside from that, I think it’s a fairly discreet thing.  Most people wouldn’t think it’s just a mousse bottle and not think about it.

The nozzle and foam

The “lube” itself is very interesting.  To dispense it you should shake the can well, hold the can upside down, and apply to the desired area.  One thing to know, it cautions against dispense it directly into the vagina or anus.  I’m not sure  why, but I would just stick with it.  Aside from that, it comes out and looks just like hair mousse.  The texture is light and foaming and it’s thick enough that it doesn’t run, drip, or move.  You can put it exactly where you want it.  After you have it out, you can smear and spread it and it turns into a creamy, lubey liquid.  It’s fairly thick once you smush it down but it is slick.  It works well for vaginal and may work well for anal as well but you’ll need to make sure to add some water to reactivate it every so often.  I think it’s neat though and it can be fun to use.

The flavor I recieved is Vanilla. It has a strong creamy marshmallow scent and taste.  The taste can get a bit bitter if you get a lot in your mouth, but it’s fine to use for oral.  The only problem I had is it gets sticky after it dries and stays a bit sticky even after you lick it off.  I didn’t notice this if I used it to masturbate, but for oral it stayed sticky.  It does have glycerin and sucralose so if you have sensitivities to yeast infections, you may not want to use this.  It also has two forms of paraben so again, stay away if you have issues.  I didn’t notice any issues or irritations with it other than it getting a bit sticky.

Overall, I think the Foaming Intimacy Lubricant is interesting and some people will like it and don’t have any sensitivities.  If you really hate having a liquid lube this would be a good choice.  If you don’t want the flavored and scent FunWares does also carry an Unflavored type.  I think this is a really unique product and if you don’t have any issues with the ingredients you should give it a try.
