Review: Blush Oui G-Spot Slimline Vibe

I’ve always seen these kind of slimline g-spot vibrators and have thought “there’s no way that would work for me”.  They seem so hard and just not comfortable looking.  But, I thought I’d give it a shot and FunWares was kind enough to send me the Blush Oui G-Spot Slimline Vibe.

The package

There isn’t a lot to say about the packaging for the Oui Slimline G-spot.  It comes in a simple clamshell package with a simple design to match the color.  It’s not that discreet, since you can see the package, but it doesn’t have any nudity or scream sex toy in huge letters.  The front lists a few of the features and the back has a small blurb as well as says how to clean it.  The back also talks about the 30 day warranty if there is a mechanical defect.

The Blush G-Spot Slimline isn’t a very high class or expensive toy.  It’s made out of plastic and a fairly simple toy.  It’s about 8″ in total length and around 7″ can be inserted.  The insert-able portion of toy consists of a thin shaft that’s about 5″ long and 0.75″ wide.  The end of the toy is a much larger bulb shape that’s angled slightly away from the rest of the shaft.  The bulb is about 2″ long and 1.25″ wide at the widest.  I was really curious about the shape, since I’ve learned that a more bulbous head works best for my g-spot.  I was very pleasantly surprised.  The end is rounded enough that it allows it to be inserted easily and I do like that it’s only slightly angled.  Since it’s plastic and very firm, if it were angled anymore I think it would be very uncomfortable.  For me, this works very well.  I can insert it just enough and the bulb works great on my g-spot and there is plenty of handle to hold to and you don’t have to worry about it getting slippery all over.  I’m not sure how well this would work for a much deeper-gspot though.

The vibe in my hand

Aside from that, it’s very easy to clean, just wash it with soap and water, toy cleaner or toy wipes.  You can also use it with any type of lube (oil, water, or silicone).  It’s a very smooth and slick plastic though, so I doubt you will need much lube for it.  The end cap unscrews and there is a fairly thick rubber o-ring between the cap and base.  The o-ring seems to make a very nice seal, so it should be very waterproof.  I did notice that the spring in the cap seems to be very stiff so it does take a bit more pressure than you’d expect to push and screw the end cap back on. It takes two AA batteries and uses a dial control for the speed.  I am a bit partial to the dial style controls because you don’t have to pick one level or the other and I think they are a little bit easier to change mid-session than trying to find a button.  One thing I did find was odd was that the first set of batteries I put in gave a very weak, but super rumbly vibration.  When I tried it with fresh batteries, it was much stronger and buzzier.  The toy actually wobbled back and forth from the deeper vibration with the weaker batteries, which I much preferred, especially internally. The only thing that I really did not like is the noise.  With fresh batteries, it is quite loud.  Probably not loud enough to be heard through a closed door, but it does make me nervous and wonder just how thin my walls are.

Overall, I looove the shape of the Blush Oui G-Spot Slimline Vibe, it just works so well for my body.  The vibrations, with fresh batteries that is, just aren’t for me.  They’re too buzzy and I’m too spoiled from other toys.  If you happen to have a set of weaker batteries though, I think the vibrations are great.  But I really don’t think you can go wrong since this toy is only $13.95.  It also comes in two colors purple and pink and I think it could be a surprising fun toy to add to your collection.
