Review: Gyrating Rockin’ Enhancer 2

The package

The packaging for the Gyration Sensations Gyrating Rockin’ Enhancer 2 is nothing special.  It came in a basic cardboard box that had been a little beaten up.  It’s definitely not discreet, so it’s probably best to just toss it after you get it.  The front has a nearly full size image of the ring and controller.  One side has a picture that shows the controls and parts of the toy and the back lists a few features in five different languages.

The toy itself has two pieces, the bullet and controller and the silicone ring.  The bullet is fairly basic.  The controller is about 3.75″ long, 1.25″ wide, and 0.75″ thick.  The bullet itself is kind of interestingly shaped and has a bulged end.  The bullet is about 2″ long and 1.25″ at the thickest.  The wire that connects into the bullet is sealed pretty well, so you don’t have to worry about lube getting in there.  It connects to the controller through a jack, which I personally like, and the cord is about 30″ long.  It means you won’t kill your cord if you jerk on it and you can easily pull the cord out during travel so it won’t accidentally turn on.  The controller is identical to many of the other California Exotic Novelties products I have reviewed, so you can just keep one controller out if you have multiple toys you like to use that work with it.

I was really surprised by the bullet.  I can actually say it’s gyrating and rocking.  It’s a fairly deep vibration and very strong.  It has ten functions and the first three are solid vibration.  It’s annoying though because it starts on the highest, then goes to the medium, and low.  I prefer it to be the other way around.  The rest of the patters are pulsing and escalating patterns.  The controller is very easy to work.  The button on the top turns it on or off, which is nice to have a quick off.  It also has a memory chip so it turns back on where you left it off.  The trigger on the bottom cycles through the speeds and patterns.

The bullet and ring

The ring is about 4.5″ in total length and about a 2.75″ outer diameter.  The sleeve part that goes over the bullet is 2.5″ long and is covered in small and large little nubblie bumps.  The inside ring portion is about 1.5″ in diameter has 8 small little flaps with a little nub on each flap.  These flaps bend easily and are designed to cover more area on the penis.  The silicone is a little stretchy, but it’s not nearly as strechty as other materials.  Unless you are a fairly well endowed guy, I don’t think this will provide much erection support.  It’s mainly designed to stimulate the base of the penis and the partner.  The material itself is bright green and has a medium amount of drag to it and doesn’t seem to attract a ton of lint.  You will most definitely want to use some lube to put it on and to get the bullet in the sleeve.  Getting the bullet into the sleeve portion works much easier with two pair of hands as it is a pretty snug fit.  There’s also a lot of suction that makes it difficult to get in and out, which is where lube helps.  If it’s a real problem, you can probably easily take a needle and poke a small whole in the end of the sleeve part to help reduce the suction.

I didn’t actually get to use this with a guy, but I did put it on one to see what he though.  He kind of enjoyed it, but for him the nubs on the flaps around the base of his penis made the sensation a bit too intense.  He did rather enjoy the vibrations from the bullet outside of the sleeve and ring though.  I hope to be able to try it with a guy soon.

Overall, I think the Gyrating Rockin’ Enhancer 2 is a fairly nice toy.  The bullet is strong and deep and I think the cock ring part is pretty neat, plus it’s a cool color.  They do sell another version that doesn’t have as many nubbies or nubbies on the flaps.  It’s a tad expensive compared to some jelly rings, but I think it’s a good deal for the bullet and a silicone sleeve.  It’s like having two toys in one!
