Review: Lelo Siri

I’ve been way behind on things, but a little over a month ago I found I won a Lelo Siri from Mademe M’s in the Pleasurist’s 100th post contest.  Bad me for taking so long, but here is my review.

The Run Down:

  • Toy Type: Out-ie
  • Manufacturer: Lelo
  • Materials: ABS Plastic and Silicone
  • Size: 4″ long, 1 3/4″ wide
  • Price: $97.00
  • Pros: Good sturdy box; Satin storage bag;  Detailed instruction manual with 6 languages; 1 year warranty; Nice patterns with very rumbly vibrations
  • Cons: Pink (okay not really a con, but you guys know me); Not water-proof or resistant
  • Intensity: 4/5
  • Volume: 1.5/5
  • Overall Rating: 5/5
  • Recommended: Yes

The Lelo Siri Packaging

Like all Lelo products, the Siri came in a small box.  It had an outside cover that is the same color of the product you ordered.  Since I received the pink Siri, the outside sleeve was also pink.  Once you remove the sleeve you have a sturdy black matte box.  There is an insert inside as well as the plastic bubble the Siri came in but it is easily removed.  The entire dimensions of the box are 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ x 3″.  It gives you plenty of room to store your Siri along with the power cord.  There is still room left over, so you can use it to store more than just the Siri as well.

Aside from the toy, you also get a power cord to charge it with, a satin storage pouch, and a detailed instruction booklet.  You also get a 1 year limited warranty with the product.  All the information you get with the toy comes in six different languages.

Plug End of the Siri

The Siri is made out of plastic and silicone.  The pink portion is made of 100% high grade silicone while the rest is made from plastic.  The only major downside to the Siri is that it is not water-proof or even water-resistant.  As you can see from the picture, the port you use to recharge the toy is completely open.  This means for cleaning you cannot submerge this toy.  You will need to wipe it with a damn cloth or use toy cleaner.  The silicone is very soft and velvety so you only need a small drop of a water-based lube with this toy.

The Charger

One of the best things about this toy is that it is rechargable.  It comes with a cord that you can use to charge your toy.  If the buttons on the Siri start to blink red, you know that it is time to charge your toy.  I like that it gives you this type of notification.  Another great feature is that it can be locked by holding the (+) and (-) buttons.  This way the toy will not turn on accidentally during travel.  The vibrations go from a barely there rumble to a medium-high buzz.  All the levels of vibration are very rumbly, though they do get slightly buzzier as they get stronger.  It also has six patterns of vibration, including the steady vibrations, as well as a unique pattern that sounds like it is singing to you.  On even the highest vibration setting though the Siri is whisper quiet.  This is by far the quietest toy (that vibrates, duh) that I own.

Overall, the Siri is one of my all-time favorite toys.  It’s one of the reliable toys I can pull out, no matter what, and get off.  The only thing I would really want to change about it is to make it water-proof and also have a narrower tip for a more concentrated vibration.  The Siri is definitely a toy I think everyone will enjoy, so go check it out at Madame M’s as well as all the other great products they offer.

I reviewed the Siri this week as well and loved it too. It’s definitely in the favorites section of my toy box! It being waterproof would be nice though.
