Review: Love Bump

A while back I reviewed a sex toy called the Love Pacifier Beginner and forgot about it.  When I got the Love Bump from MyPleasure I quickly remembered the Love Pacifier as it’s very similar.

The package

The Love Bump comes in standard California Exotic Novelty packaging.  It’s a small box and really is just big enough for the product, which is nice.  It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room which makes it a good study place to store the toy.  It’s not the most discreet packaging though.  You can see the toy, but none of the writing on the package is overly sexual.  If someone was completely clueless they probably would not know what it is.  It actually looks *slightly* like a child’s toy.

The toy is kinda odd shaped.  It has a almost corkscrew looking portion with a handle with bumps on it.  It also has a tail.  I’m not really sure what the point of the tail portion is.  It’s not long enough to provide stimulation of the anus while inserted and if you used the product anally it would just stick out weird.  Other than that it’s about 4.5″ in total length with about 3″ being insert-able.  That’s just the right length for most people’s g-spot or for the prostate so it should work well for most.  It’s also not very girthy at only 1″ at the widest.  I think it would be great for people wanting to start with anal as it tapers quiet a bit.  It’s made of a very firm silicone and it feels firmer than the Love Pacifier.  There is almost no give to the main body but there is a bit of flexibility in the handle.  And yes, I flame tested it and there was no marking or discoloration.  To clean, you can use soap and water, toy cleaner, bleach it, or boil it.  Oh and while it’s nor purple, it’s a nice shade of blue.

The Love Bump

The firmness makes it fairly easy to insert vaginally, though I have not tried it anally.  It also allows for a lot of pressure if that’s what you like.  The handle doesn’t work well for thrusting but you can wiggle it.  The bumps on the handle can also be used to rub against the clit, but I didn’t find it to be that stimulating.  However, it’s easy to pull the handle to the side to use a vibrator on your clit.  I really enjoy it.  I just sits on my g-spot very nicely.  I have still yet to have a g-spot orgasm, but I don’t hold it against it.  Since my method of masturbation usually involves a vibrator on my clit and inserting, but not thrusting, a dildo, this toy works out great for it.  Also, if you like vibrations internally, it does transmit vibrations very well.  Either by holding a clit touching it and your clit or if you have a large bullet that will stick int he handle.

Overall, I do like the Love Bump.  I think it’s a nice size, though some people may not find it to be girthy enough.  I liked the firmness and the shape works very well for me.  It’s also a very inexpensive toy.  For a silicone toy I think it’s a great deal.  I think it’s great for all levels of play from beginners, both vaginally and anally, to more advanced players.
