The bottle

The Luv Silk comes in a small 3.4 fluid ounce clear bottle.  Much like the Luv Wand, it has a heart shape, though it does have a small base that flares out so that it can stand up.  It has a small pump top and a plastic cap that fits over it to prevent accidental pumps.  There are labels on the front and back f the bottle, but they have very little information on them.  The front has the logo and product name and says “Intimate Lubricant”.  The back says  “Enhanced Pleasure” and “Superior Slip & Slide Action”.  It also list the ingredients.  It’s small print, so it may be safe to leave out, or just peel the labels off if you want to leave it out.  There are no directions on the product, but I think it’s fairly straight forward.

The lube itself is a tad runny, but it is somewhere in between a gel and a complete liquid.  It does run a bit if you pump it, so you may want to be careful of drips when applying it.  That being said though, it is non-staining, so if you get it on your bed it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s not sticky or tacky and it spreads very easily.  Even when I let it dry on the back of my hand it doesn’t really get sticky like some other lubes do.  I also don’t find that it leaves me feeling greasy or like I need to wash it off and it will absorb into my skin and leave it a bit softer.  There is also no smell to it at all.  It also only has three ingredients.  Propanediol is listed as a possible skin irritant, but I have had no issues with this. It also is listed for eye and lung irritation, so just don’t rub it in your eyes or inhale it.  There are also a few reports on carrageenan too, but I have seen it used in many lubes and the data is not clear.

Overall, the Rocks Off Luv Silk is a good water based lube.  It has all the qualities I look for  in a water-based lube.   On Rocks Off website it’s listed in British currency so I estimated it to be just over $15, which is a tad expensive for a lube.  Aside from that, it does a good job at being a lube, and lasts fairly long for a water-based lube as well.
