The package

I’m not going to say much about the packaging for the Euphoria.  It’s the same plastic as many other packages from California Exotic Novelties.  The back lists the features which include body safe silicone, a satin finish, easy push button controls, 7 functions of vibration, and an auto-off button.

The Euphoria (looks like a dolphin, don't you agree?)

The Euphoria (looks like a dolphin, don’t you agree?)

The Euphoria itself is a fairly small toy at only about 5″ in length.  It has two main components, the handle and the head.  The handle is made from velvet finish ABS plastic and has the controls.  The handle and the head is separated by a shiny portion of plastic that is not velvet coat.    The head, however, is made from a very silky soft silicone and has a rather unique shape.  To me, it looks like the head of a dolphin.  It has a rounded surface with a pointed “nose”.  I think it gives it a very cute look, so it will appeal to anyone that doesn’t like their toys to look like phallic objects or anything.  The Euphoria is fairly easy to clean, though there is a crease between the silicone and silver plastic that you may need to pay a little more attention to.  I would also suggest only using a water-based lube with it, though you most likely need very little because the silicone is very soft.  It’s also not a lint magnet which is great.

The vibrations of the Euphoria, however, are a little lacking.  It runs on two AAA batteries that are inserted easily through a panel on the bottom of the handle.  While you can’t expect much from AAA’s, the vibrations are on the weaker side and slightly buzzy, though the silicone and shape dulls out the buzz.  The shape of the head does offer some variation in vibrations, as you can choose the wider rounded head or the pointed nose.  There are 7 total patterns with three being steady vibration.  On the plus side though, it is very quite.

Overall, I think that the Luxe Euphoria is a cute little toy.  I do wish it had a bit more and deeper power because I do think i would really like the shape.
