Nipple Charmers in the package

So the Nipple Charmers came in a clear plastic container.  They are nicely displayed and it is slightly discreet.  It does say “beaded nipple clamps” but overall the packaging does not scream “kinky sex toy” to me.  Otherwise, it is typical Fresh brand packaging.  My friend has one of the Fresh collars and both packaging uses the bright pink, green, and blue hippy-esq style.  However, the packaging is a little big to store them in.  It would have been nice if it came with a nice little pouch to keep them together in, as they could easily get lost.

As you guys know, I don’t have much experience with nipple clamps and BDSM products and the like, which is why I requested these.   Good Vibes carries two styles of these Nipple Charmers, the blue star charms and pink flower charms. Seeing as I am not a fan of pink or flowers, I went with the blue stars.  I was a little disappointed when I took them out of the package.  It is hard to tell from the picture, but the beads and charm are both plastic.  Now I did expect the beads to be plastic, but I did think the charm would at least be a nice metal charm.  I do think that for the price these could be a little higher quality with metal charms and glass beads.

The charms themselves

The rest of the Charmers are made from metal which is non-porous, Phthalates free and latex free.  The end of each prong is covered with a rubber grip to prevent slipping and from the metal digging into your skin.  If you desire more of a pinch you can pull the little rubber covers off.  However, they do have little teeth on the end of the prongs, so be careful with those.  From the end of the charm to the tip of the prongs they measure about 4 1/2″ long.  The length is one of the things I didn’t like much about this product.  I feel that they would look more attractive when they’re clamped on if they were a little shorter.  I’m rather large busted, so these dangle pretty far  on me.

Charmers in my hand

As I am a bit of a noob with this type of product, I did have difficulty putting them on.  They have a small metal ring wrapped around both prongs and by sliding the ring up the prongs it squeezes them together, which can give you the compression between the prong tips to hold them on your nipple.  Again, also being large boobed, I found it difficult to get these on, as the ring can be a little tough to slide up the prongs.  I do plan on playing with these with a more experienced partner to figure them out better.

Closed and open Charmer

Overall, the Nipple Charmers Beaded Clamps are a good relatively inexpensive introduction to this style of nipple clamp.  I think I prefer the screw type clamp if I were to use them.  If I were to use this style, I would prefer them to be shorter.  Either way, these are pretty cute and the more power to you if you like them and can pull them off!
