The package

The Ogee comes in a pretty basic clamshell package.  You can clearly see the toy and it has the “Screaming O” logo on it.  It’s not horribly discreet.  What I do like about it is the front has a bunch of images of different ways you can position the toy.  There is no additional instructions though besides how to put batteries in the bullet.  I would have liked if there were a little guide that showed some of the shapes you can make and why they’d be good to use.  Other than that though it does come with a nice bright purple satin storage bag and two extra sets of batteries.

The vibe and storage pouch

The Ogee itself is about 8″ in total length with around 3.5″ being insert-able and just under 1″ in diameter.  It consists of the Ogee Twisted G-Vibe sleeve and a small 3-speed bullet.  The sleeve is made from silicone but it also has a metal spring that runs through it that allows you to adjust the toy.  I was unsure about the   There are also many bumps on both the top and bottom portions as well as a raised butterfly on the top, I suppose to add stimulation.  I didn’t really find these added much texture or stimulation, as they are fairly small.  I did find that they were a pain in the ass to clean and you really have to scrub to get it clean in between.   The back of the top also has a few lines which I couldn’t really feel either.  You can use soap and water or toy cleaner, but you will definitely need to do more than just wipe it clean, so I don’t think a toy wipe would work very well.  I also think you could bleach or boil it as long as you remove the bullet first.

The bullet is a pretty standard bullet made from ABS plastic and matches the color of the sleeve.  It has three speeds and offers pretty common bullet style vibrations.  The vibrations are a bit buzzy and even on high they are not particularly strong.  It runs on 3 button batteries and it does come with them and actually comes with two extra sets of batteries, so it should last you a while.  However, the hole you insert the bullet into fairly standard size so if you have another bullet you like more or is more powerful (or something like the We Vibe Tango) you could always use that instead.

Comparing it to the We-Vibe II

As far as the flexilbity of the toy, I thought it was a fun idea.  It allows you get a fairly good curve going so you can use it for g-spot stimulation as well as clitoral stimulation.  The only problem I found is that while it does hold the shape, it doesn’t allow you to add much pressure because it doesn’t take much to bend it back.  Another thing I worry about is that it’s a metal spring that allows you to bend it which can eventually break.  Aside from using it alone, I think it would also be possible to use it like the We-Vibe II.  While I have not been able to try it out like this the shape is similar and it may actually be a bit thinner.

Overall, I think the Ogee Twisted G-Vibe is a fairly versatile toy.  It will last a long time, though I don’t think it will last forever, plus it’s fairly inexpensive.  If you’re interested in the We-Vibe II but are still unsure, this may be a good option to try to see if it’s something you would enjoy.  The vibrations in the Ogee bullet cannot compare to those in the We-Vibe though.  I do wish it were a bit stiffer and that the small bumps weren’t there, but other than that it’s a nice toy.
