The package

The Onye Petite comes n a very small plastic package.  It’s one of those really annoying hard to open packages that everyone hates so be ready to get out our scissors to chop it up.  Once you get it open and finally get the toy out, you get the small plastic storage case as well as the bullet.  The small insert has a design that matches the design as on the bullet.  It lists the few features in four languages which is nice. There is very little on the package and it’s not very discreet.  Aside from that, there isn’t much else to say about it.  What I do really like is the storage case.  It’s just a simple black flip top case, and while it does have the Big Tease Toys logo on it, it’s a fairly discreet case.  If someone saw it in the bottom of your purse they would think it’s a lighter or tampon case.  Even if you don’t want to use it for the Onye Petite, you could use it as a tampon case.

The Onye and case

This toy is just as the name says, petite.  It’s only around 3.5″ long and 5/8″ in diameter.   It’s a small ABS  plastic push button bullet.  You guys may thing “just a basic bullet?  booooorrring”, but it comes with one of three designs; white with purple flowers, black with a red dragon, or white with orange and black butterflies.  Unfortunately, Good Vibes only has the flower and dragon design.  I really like the look of all three designs.  The design is not raised at all, so there is no extra texture and it’s not just painted on.  I’ve scratched at it and it doesn’t come off, so I doubt if you dropped it it would knock off any of the design. Mine does have an odd place though that feels like the plastic is lightly rippled.  I don’t think this is supposed to be like that.  My guess is that the design is a small thin sheet that goes over the basic plastic case and is then melted to the plastic and in that process it just didn’t lay quite flat.  It’s not on the design part, so it doesn’t bother me at all.  The plastic has a very slick shiny finish, but if you want to use a lube with it (it’s highly unlikely you’d need much if any) you can use a water-based or silicone-based lube.  It’s also very easy to clean.  It has a large o-ring so it’s water-proof, so for cleaning you can wash with soap and water, toy cleaner, or wipes.  You can also feel free to take it with you in the shower or bath.

As far as the functionality of the toy goes, it’s just a one speed bullet and takes 1 AAA battery.  It turns on and off with a simple push button.  The vibration level is a fairly medium and buzzy vibration that you would expect out of this type of toy.  The vibration is not all that exciting, especially since I’m pretty spoiled by my rumbly toys.  However, if you enjoy this types of bullets, I think this would be a nice one to add to your collection.

Overall, I like the Onye Gallerie Petie because it’s very pretty.  It’s not the type of vibration I would choose given the size of my collection, but I think may people out there could enjoy this.  If you’re really looking for a toy like this, I say go for it and get something pretty.  Plus you get the nice storage case too.
