I’ve been single for a while now, so I’ve been looking at ways to attract guys.  I know pheromones are supposed to help so when I found the Simply Sexy perfume sold by FunWares, I knew I had to try it.

The bottle

Simply Sexy comes in a small 0.5 fl oz bottle and looks no different than other perfume bottles I have seen.  I think it’s an attractive bottle and no one will know it’s a pheromone perfume, unless they read the small print under the name that says “sex attractant”.  I think if you had this sitting on your dresser it would not draw any unwanted attention.  The spray top is covered by a metal cap  It also comes with a small tag attached to the bottle that you can remove.  The tag says that Simply Sexy is an alluring sensual fragrance infused with pheromones that will mix with your own natural pheromones.  It also explains that pheromones provide a sexual attractant to entice and arouse the senses.

There are no parabens in this product, so it shouldn’t cause any irritation.  However, the back of the tag says if any irritation occurs to discontinue use.  The main ingredients are denatured alcohol, water, and fragrance.  The last three ingredients are the pheromones.  I couldn’t find much hard information on them.

As far as the scent goes, it’s very hard to describe.  It’s a little musky and slightly floral.  I can’t say that I’ve ever smelled something quite like it.  Overall, I like the scent okay, however I feel like when I wear it, it’s very strong.  I asked a male friend to smell me and he said it was the perfect strength where you can smell it when you’re standing close to someone chatting, dancing, etc.

Now, I’m sure you’re all wondering if it works.  Frankly, I have no idea.  To do a proper experiment I’d need to do a blind study and have participates rate my (and others) attractiveness and smell using none perfume, the Simply Sexy, and another control perfume that doesn’t smell similar (yes, I know I’m a nerd).  I had a hard time finding enough willing participants, so I tried it on my one friend.  This one male in particular had a very strong (and hard…) reaction to it, but that was just one person.  I have been wearing it to class quite often and haven’t received any compliments or extra attention from it when I go about my normal routine.  I do think there may be some affect, as occasionally when I apply it, I become slightly aroused.  Perhaps it’s a placebo effect or the thought makes me feel super sexy, it’s very hard to tell.

Overall, I think the Simply Sexy is a good fragrance and it’s very affordable.  I think this would be great for couples and singles alike, though it is intended to be worn by a female.  I’m not sure how it would smell on a male.  I do think it would work best when you are in a a close situation, such as chatting or dancing at a club.  If you have a partner, it could be a great way to hint that you’re feeling sexy and craving some extra attention
