Review: Vibrating Prostate Stimulator

I seem to come across a lot of products that I request because a partner wants to try them, or I have a partner to share them with and then the partner goes poof.  The product I’m going to review today is one of those.  Pipedreams sent me the Vibrating  Silicone Prostate Stimulator to review, which I did have a partner that was going to try it, but things changed, so I’m going to do my best to tell you what I can about it without the opinion of a prostate owner.

The Vibrating Prostate Stimulator comes in a thin clam shell package.  It is completely clear so you can see the toy so it’s not exactly discreet.  The only printed information is a small card in the top panel of the package.  The front says “Experience Explosive Eruptions!” and “The Ultimate Orgasmic Pleasure Device!” which is a little over the top for me.  The back has some details on the product and some instructions.  It does tell you to use lots of lube which is a great tip.

The stimulator in my hand

The Stimulator is overall a bit odd looking.  There are two main components, the main shaft and the perineum stimulator.  The main shaft is 5″ in total length with 4″ being insert-able.  It’s about 1.25″ wide at the widest but it’s not very round it’s more oblong.  The silicone (yep real silicone, I flamed it) is firm but flexible.  It’s firm enough to apply enough pressure on the prostate to make it really enjoyable.  The silicone does give a bit of drag so, like the instructions say, use a lot of water-based lube when inserting this toy.  The tip of the shaft tapers a bit, but I do think you should have some experience with anal play before trying out this toy.  To clean, simply wash with soap and water or toy cleaner.  You can also bleach or boil the stimulator portion, just be sure to remove the bullet first.  The bullet is also water-proof, so this is a bath and shower friendly to.

The bullet

The second part is a little swirled arm desired to stimulate the perineum.  This arm is bout 3″ long and looks kinda like a snail shell.  Since I don’t have a prostate, I gave this a try on my gspot.  The shaft feels nice with inserted and gives some good pressure, but the arm really did not work for me at all.  It was a little too floppy and not wide enough for my clit.  However, I have not tried this anal  The vibrations are also provided by a  small bullet that’s inserted into the base.  It runs on 3 watch batteries (that are included! woo!) and provides a medium-high level of vibration and is quite buzzy.  The bullet turns on with an easy to use dial control.  The vibrations are transmitted well through-out the shaft, but not very well through the arm.  I did find out though that the bullet is removable and the We Vibe Tango also fits in it.  The stronger deeper vibrations of the Tango transmit better through the arm of the toy I think.

Overall, I think the Vibrating Prostate Stimulator would work well for prostate stimulation, however, it doesn’t work very well as a female dual stimulator.  It can provide some nice g-spot stimulation, but the arm doesn’t do much.  I also think that even if it is buzzy, most guys I’ve come across prefer a buzzier vibration so this should work really well for them.  It is a tady pricy, but it’s about in line with other silicone prostate massager on the marker.  So boys, if you like some buzz on your prostate and prenieum, I suggest checking out the Silicone Vibrating Prostate Stimulator from Pipedreams.
