A year or so ago, I was lucky enough to receive the X1 Orgasmatron to review. If you didn’t know, Orgasmatronics, Inc has since released many other attachments for the Orgasmatron (which reviews of each will be coming this summer!). However, this post isn’t here to talk about the X1 Orgasmatron or their attachments. It’s to talk about Orgasmatronics, Inc Indidgogo Campaign. Now usually, I don’t post about upcoming products. I tend to stick to reviews, giveaways, and Dating Fails. So why am I posting about it? Well first because I’m a geek and I get excited over really cool uses of technology, especially when sex is involved. And two because for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to have a real penis. Now items like the Fun Factory Share and Tantus Feeldoe take strapons to another level but it still doesn’t give you much stimulation from stroking the shaft. This is where the Ambrosia vibe should get you excited.
The Ambrosia vibe responds to touch, pressure change to be exact. There are no moving parts in the dildo itself but any touch, squeezing, sucking, or fucking transmits a pressure to a control box which then converts that to a vibration pattern in the bullet. It is honestly one of the coolest vibrators I have seen since I started this blog.
Now, since this is on Indiegogo, you can’t buy it and get it next week. The campaign is to help crowdfund the manufacturing cost. Funding options start as low as $5 and range upwards of $5000 for those with really deep pockets. But even for $5 you get something for it. If you donate $5, you get a nifty LESS PANTS, MORE SCIENCE button. The early bird special (to safe a lot on getting your hands on an Ambrosia Vibe) has sold out, but you can still get one. Donate $149 and you will get the basic dildo, control box, bullet, and pressure tube. Also, at other levels you can get stuff like autographed DVDs from Buck Angel and subscriptions to Courtney Trouble’s indiepornrevolution.
But I’m going to stop rambling about it now because they have a TON of information about the awesomeness of the Ambrosia Vibe on their Indiegogo page. Go check it out, donate if you love it as much as me, and prepare yourself for awesome. The campaign is already 62% funded (there are stretch goals so keep donating!) and it will end on July 17th.
